Indie Week Announces New 'Indie 101' Online Music Conference for April

The team behind Indie Week Canada and the recently-held Screen X Screen music tech conference have announced the Indie 101 virtual music conference, which will be held from April 20-24, 2021.

The Indie 101 music conference will cover a wide range of topics that artists and music industry professionals need to know before, during, and after releasing new music, from song creation to publishing, distribution, promotion, and monetization. It will include seminars, keynote addresses, listening sessions, mentorships, and more.

There is currently a limited number of super early-bird tickets available for $20 until March 9. After that, the price will be $60.

"After the success of moving Indie Week online, it just made sense to launch a new event that focuses on the future and new business models. We have to look at the new opportunities that are being presented, and I believe that this is an amazing time for businesses and artists to grow at an explosive rate with an engaged global online audience," says Darryl Hurs, founder of Indie Week.
