Submissions Welcome for Pair of International Song Contests

Submissions are currently being accepted for a pair of international songwriting competitions based in Canada.

The Women's Freedom Song Contest is looking for the next “female anthem.” The contest, open to all genders, launched on Dec. 19, 2019 and runs until March 1, 2020. The winners will be announced on International Women's Day, March 8, 2020. There is now a new category for "indie music videos" and documentary shorts under 10 minutes. The International Songwriters Day Song Contest opened on Dec. 19, 2019 and runs until April 2, 2020. The contest is seeking "songs of inspiration” and has also added an indie music video category.
