In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival has postponed its 2020 run, now happening Sept. 22-Oct. 4, 2020 instead of May 19-31.
A statement from the festival reads: "Our concert and workshop lineup will largely go ahead as planned, with some changes to event venues and artists. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured on the new dates with no further action required. Ticket holders also have the option to receive a refund or donate their ticket back to support the festival.
"We are committed to the audiences, artists, supporters, and sponsors that make this unique festival a reality. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that we can count on your continued support of SING! this fall."
More updates are expected in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, tune in to SING! A Cappella Radio, hosted by SING! artistic directors Dylan Bell and Suba Sankaran. Hear a new episode every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, with an encore show Saturday at 7 p.m. at www.maplemusiccafe.com/sing.
