SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival is presenting its ninth annual edition online from Sept. 29-Oct. 4, 2020. Here are some of the programming highlights thus far:
- The SING! In Concert Prime Time series will air nightly at 8 pm ET and 7 pm ET on the weekend, with artists including FreePlay, Beatsync, Cadence, and Retrocity.
- A celebration of the 10th anniversary of one of SING!'s founding groups, Countermeasure, in a special retrospective presentation.
- Best-selling author and Juno Award-winner Tom Wilson (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings) headlines the annual O Canada concert.
- A Las Vegas-themed show headlined by Micah Barnes. At that concert, SING! will present the Slaight Music SING! Toronto Legacy Award to the vocal music icon, Jackie Richardson
- The popular Mass Choir event from last year is being revived as a virtual InstaChoir. You can join singers from around the world in this collaborative online project.
- The free SING! Throwback Concerts airing nightly from September 29 to October 4 at 7 pm EST offer a chance to catch some of the highlights from the first eight festivals.
- SING! and Learn interactive Zoom workshops on October 3 and 4 from 1 pm to 4 pm ET with internationally-acclaimed clinicians will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge with top experts.
