The Recording Academy's Producers & Engineers Wing has released a list of potential safety measures and considerations for recording studios as the process of reopening begins.

As businesses around North America consider how to proceed with plans for partial and staggered re-openings, the Producers & Engineers Wing says it understands that they are feeling a deep sense of responsibility and trepidation. Based on conversation numerous recording studio owners, engineers, and other industry professionals around the country, and based on their suggested protocols, the group compiled this practical list of potential safety measures and considerations for recording studios.

The document, titled “Considerations For Recording Studios As They Reopen,” is a resource and is not meant to supersede local guidelines but instead to complement them with specifics, as informed by numerous studio owners, engineers and others who are striving to keep the music community safe while getting back to work.
