The dates for the various segments of the 2020 North by Northeast (NXNE) festival have been announced.
The Club Land shows, which are a series of curated concerts by top emerging artists in venues around downtown Toronto, will take place from June 12-21.
The Festival Village, which sees Toronto’s central and busy Yonge Street shutdown to traffic from Dundas to Queen for a weekend of high-profile concerts and installations, will be open from June 19-21. The headliners have not yet been announced. In pas years, the shows at Yonge-Dundas Square have featured the like of The National, Iggy Pop, and others.
Game Land, a more recent addition to NXNE that focused on esports and video games, will happen from June 12-14.
Nothing has yet been announced for NXNE Talks, the one-day conference on issues affecting the music and fan community.
