Welcoming her appointment, the Coalition Chair, Dr. Eric Favaro, says, “I am delighted to welcome Patricia Valenteyn as the new managing director of The Coalition for Music Education. This appointment reflects the Coalition’s commitment to further expanding and deepening its advocacy initiatives to ensure that all students in all schools in Canada have access to quality music education. Ms. Valenteyn brings with her a wealth of expertise, both as a leader and an innovator, at a key point in the Coalition’s evolution.”
