Preparations are underway for NAMM's Believe in Music Week, which will be an online event replacing The 2021 NAMM Show and running from Monday, Jan. 18 to Friday, Jan. 22, 2021.
"While not The NAMM Show or a virtual trade show, the initiative will meet the immediate business needs of NAMM member companies through thought-leader led education for all segments of the industry, networking and AI matchmaking, and business-to-business-focused opportunities to reaffirm and grow business connections, launch new products, share brand initiatives and engage with customers in real-time," NAMM says.

Believe in Music TV
A series of channels will feature programming, including some of the most popular education and entertainment from The NAMM Show, along with new content to inspire and connect the global music and events communities.
Training
A variety of educational sessions will explore the latest tips, ideas and networking opportunities to help professionals build their businesses and careers. Rather than simply transferring its usual NAMM U and TEC Tracks sessions to an online, webinar-type format, NAMM is planning to create and commission a lot of engaging, recorded educational videos that will sometimes also feature a live text-based Q&A in order to better utilize the platform and keep viewers engaged.
On its Believe it Music website, NAMM includes a FAQ to answer some basic initial questions, in regards to how does Believe in Music Week work? NAMM says:

The event will be accessible in January 2021 by visiting Believeinmusic.tv, showcasing a variety of live and recorded content produced by NAMM and an alliance of organizations that believe in the power of music and music making.
Attendees can peruse content in Believe in Music TV and create their own schedules, with an event program that is always up to date.
Qualified buyers and media will have unique access to meeting requests and brand engagement, helping marketers tell brand stories and connecting industry members across the world.
The product marketplace, showcasing the latest gear across categories, along with brand experience pages, showcasing brand stories and information, will highlight product discovery to all who believe in music.
Education and training sessions will engage audiences with interactive polls and surveys along with a live Q&A.
Powered by artificial intelligence, attendees will be able to see who else is at the digital event and match them based on products and subjects of interest, along with chances to interact at networking events, awards shows, panel discussions and more.
Multiple language options and automated time zone adjustments, along with unique programming to international audiences, will help Believe in Music Week connect the world.

Currently, NAMM still plans to hold Summer NAMM 2021 in its usual fashion in-person fashion Nashville from July 15–17, 2021. As well, the The 2022 NAMM Show is still for Jan. 20–23, 2022 in Anaheim, CA.
