Midem 2019 to Host Canadian Pavilion

Midem will host a Canadian Pavilion during its 53rd annual event, in partnership with Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), the Canadian Music Publishers Association (CMPA), Canadian Music Week, and Women In Music, plus others to be announced. Midem, one the top annual music industry events, will be held this year from June 4-7, 2019, in Cannes, France.

The Canadian Pavilion will provide a meeting space for Canadian badge holders to connect with international labels, publishers, distributers, and attendees on the forefront of what’s next in music, technology and emerging markets, behind one of the most stunning backdrops the world provides.

For over 50 years, Midem has brought the worlds of music and technology together, bringing some of the industries’ brightest and most creative minds in one place to interact over four days of panels, discussions, mixers, and live music. The Canadian Pavilion will provide a central location to congregate, hosting its own happy hour, performances, and programming, showcasing some of the best that Canada has to offer to the music world.

Midem has already announced a first round of keynote speakers in Troy Carter, CEO and Founder of Atom Factory, music licensing pioneer, and key player in the Chinese market, Mathew Daniel, along with this year’s Midemlab jury members, with much more to come.
