Steve Gadd Added to KoSA Academy's 2019 Faculty

Organizers of KoSA 24, the annual percussion academy held at KoSA’s headquarters in Montreal, have announced that this year’s faculty will include acclaimed session drummer Steve Gadd. Other instructors will include KoSA Founder Aldo Mazza, as well as Sergio Bellotti, Mark Kelso, Melissa Lavergne, Shawn Mativetsky, and Antonio Sanchez.

The camp is open to drummers and percussionists of all ages and skill levels and will be held at the KoSA Academy in the Montreal borough of Notre-Dame-de Grâce (2207 Ave., Beaconsfield, Montréal, QC H4A 2G9).

KoSA’s faculty of acclaimed drummers and percussionists will conduct small, hands-on classes covering a wide range of styles on the drumset, including rock, jazz, groove, fusion, hip-hop, and house, and various styles of hand percussion. It offers private percussion and drumming lessons in Afro-Carribean, Cuban, Brazilian, African, Arabic, and classical music. There are also group lessons in African drumming and Cuban rhythms and drumming.

There are also bass, guitar, keyboard, flute, saxophone, and vocal lessons available in the jazz, classical, and rock styles.
