2021 Juno Awards Moved From May to June

Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has announced that "out of an abundance of caution in response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic," it and its partners, including CBC and Insight Productions, have made the decision to move the 50th Anniversary JUNO Awards in Toronto to June.

This year's Juno Awards were originally supposed to include a week of festivities in Toronto to mark its 50th anniversary, but then was forced to cancel all in-person events. The broadcast-only awards show was then scheduled for May 16.

The Juno Awards will now broadcast nationwide on Sunday, June 6 on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music and globally on More information on performers, presenters and JUNO Week virtual events will be announced in the coming weeks.
