IMSTA FESTA Toronto to Host Song Review Sessions

IMSTA FESTA Toronto will again offer burgeoning songwriters and composers that chance to have one of their songs reviewed in personal one-on-one session by an industry expert, along with a chance to win the 2018 IMSTA Songwriting Competition. IMSTA FESTA Toronto will return to the Rogers Communications Building at Ryerson University on Oct. 13, 2018.

On the day of the show from 2-4:45 p.m., IMSTA attendees are invited to bring their original song in on a headphone-compatible device and receive a one-on-one listening session with an industry expert who will give a critique of the song. From the Song Reviews, the judges nominate ‘Wild Cards’ who are then spontaneously added to the finalists’ pool who place first, second and third of the 2018 IMSTA Songwriting Competition. (Wild Cards must be present for judging at 5 p.m.).

At the end of 2018, the first-place finalists of each region are re-entered into a draw for the Grand Prize. The winner goes to Black Rock Studios in Santorini, Greece.

IMSTA FESTA is an annual, free trade show and conference for professional and semi-professional musicians, songwriters, composers, engineers, and producers.
