Evenko & Live Nation Announce Partnership to Bring More Major Concerts to Quebec & Atlantic Canada

evenko, one of the leading promoters and producers in Canada, and Live Nation Entertainment, the largest live entertainment company in the world, have entered into a partnership agreement, strengthening the existing business relationship between the two companies. The companies say the strategic partnership will drive and grow entertainment opportunities in Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Theyplan to combine evenko’s expertise in the market producing and promoting live entertainment and developing emerging local talent and its festival portfolio with Live Nation Entertainment’s extensive reach and resources to bring the global stage to Eastern Canada.

evenko will continue to oversee all operations of the business, including the more than 1,500 musical, family, and sporting events it produces annually throughout Quebec and Atlantic Canada. evenko will continue operating under the same brand and will still produce its numerous festival properties, including the OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festivall, îLESONIQ, and the recently-announced country music festival, LASSO Montréal, as well as continuing to manage and program a variety of venues including, Bell Centre, MTELUS, Place Bell, and the Corona Theatre.

evenko says its the day-to-day operations will continue their normal course with the head office, management group, and staff remaining in Montreal under evenko.

Jacques Aubé, who’s played an important role in evenko since 1997, now assumes the leadership of the newly created entity as President and CEO.
