Over 100 international delegates from the United States, Canada, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, France, Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom will descend upon Charlottetown, PEI for the 31st celebration of the East Coast Music Awards: Festival and Conference, taking place from May 1-5, 2019.

"Over the last 18 years, the ECMA Export Buyers program has flourished to become an international business-to-business marketplace and continues to build long term relationships with international and Canadian booking agents, presenters, promoters, festival and venue programmers, sync agents, film and music supervisors, labels, and media from around the world. The program is a solid pillar for export business development for the Atlantic Canadian music industry and continues to deliver millions of dollars in annual revenue for East Coast artists and companies."
The ECMA 2019 Industry Conference will spotlight the Music in Motion: Film, Television & New Media SYNC Summit and will feature a series of high level conference sessions to help prepare industry professionals and companies with the insight to expand their career and business opportunities in the world of film, television, advertising, and music supervision. This year, ECMA are partnering with Music PEI to present the Music PEI Song Conference as part of the industry conference activities. It will offer songwriting master classes, pitch sessions, and will put artists and their music in front of industry professionals in the areas of publishing, music supervision, A&R and songwriting.
ECMA will also partner with the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) and Sounds Australia and will welcome a strong delegation from Australia. ECMA also welcomes many local presenters, festival programmers, and members of the Atlantic Presenters Association and the Réseau atlantique de diffusion des arts de la scène (RADARTS).
