ECMA 2019 Export Buyers Program One-On-One Meeting Requests Now Open

The East Coast Music Association has announced that over 80 music industry delegates from the United States, Canada, Belgium, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom will be in Charlottetown, PEI from May 1-5 to participate in the 2019 Export Buyers Program and International Marketplace at ECMA 2019.

These international and Canadian guests include booking agents, talent buyers, festivals, event and venue programmers, promoters, presenters, music supervisors, sync agents, publishers, labels and media from around the world.

The deadline for submitting meeting request forms is Friday, April 12 (5 p.m. AST). All pre-arranged meetings will take place on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Delta Hotel in the Confederation Ballroom Sir John A MacDonald Room.

Those interested are asked to read and review all delegates bios/background information thoroughly before requesting a one-on-one meetings (maximum 18 meetings per artist/representative) to ensure their selection of delegates are an appropriate “business fit” for their genre of music. Artists and/or their representatives are asked to select delegates that are reflective of their business goals and export market development, taking into consideration location, genre, facts, and history.

One-on-One Meetings are open to export-ready artists, artist representatives, and companies. Priority will be given to showcasing artists, award nominees, and exporting artists/representatives. Conference registration is required.


• Professional press kit/bio/web presence (website, Bandcamp, etc.);

• Social media presence (facebook, twitter, instagram etc).

• Current release and or released at least one professionally manufactured CD;

• Professional marketing plan/business plan;

• Must have demonstrated exporting history/and or participated in an ECMA Export Readiness Training Workshop

Participants are requested to check in 10 minutes prior to their first pre-scheduled one-on-one meeting.
