Cirque du Soleil Launches New Digital Content Hub

Hoping to unite fans while all of its shows are on pause, Cirque du Soleil has just launched CirqueConnect, its digital content hub, available at

The CirqueConnect platform is filled with footage from various Cirque du Soleil multimedia offerings, including 60-minute specials, virtual reality experiences, content series and tutorials, music and family-friendly favourites.

This week on the platform, Cirque du Soleil is premiering a brand-new 60-minute special on Friday. The new hour-long special will stream live at 3 p.m. on July 24th and will take viewers on a journey through vibrant worlds "suspended somewhere between dreams and reality."

First fans will be transported to Pandora, the land of Avatar with excerpts from TORUK – The First Flight featuring tumbling acts, aerial silks and an incredible hand balancing performance. Then viewers will experience the mythical world of Dralion, where “East meets West” on a never-ending quest for harmony, through awe-inspiring creations of strength and agility, including a hoop diving act derived from Chinese acrobatic tradition, high-octane tumbling sequences as well as an impressive teeterboard performance. Finally, fans will be taken to the mysterious island of Amaluna , to bear witness to the passage of feminine wisdom from generation to generation, with excerpts featuring a choreography inspired by an Indonesian ritual dance, a unicycle duo act and a breathtaking Chinese pole performance.

The physical and spiritual melding of choreography, acting and incredible athletic feats are testimony to the dedication of the hundreds of cast and crew who have worked on these travelling shows. Guaranteed to stir the senses and invoke wonder long after the “curtain closes”, viewers will be transported to a place like no other.
